Web Development Languages on the Rise

Something that people new to web development ask a lot is what programming languages should they learn? For some this seems like a really easy question to answer, for those who actually know what they are talking about, it is a far more complex problem.

The thing is, there are a lot of programming languages out there that can all potentially be used in web development. Some are more popular than others. Some have almost totally been phased out and replaced by new languages. There are also those languages that are up and coming.

So what should you be learning in 2018?

Alexander Petkov did a little analysis. He looked at salaries, number of job openings, potential future demand and ease of learning and came up with a list of languages that he thinks will be the best to learn right now.
